With its landscaped gardens and Victorian features, the Prince Of Wales Hotel is a 10-minute walk to Southport Train Station and to the beach. Wi-Fi is free in public areas. Situated on Lord Street, the hotel is a 5-minute drive away from Hesketh Park and Southport Pier. Splashworld, the popular water park, is 500 metres from the Prince Of Wales. All bedrooms have a bathroom with a bath and a shower. Guests also have a TV, trouser press, tea/coffee making facilities in each room, whilst some rooms have a jacuzzi bath. The Colonial Restaurant serves traditional British dishes and the Clubhouse Bar has a golf theme. A full English breakfast is served every morning. The hotel has ramped access to its side entrance, with lift access to all floors and some disabled access rooms available. Ramped access to the restaurant is possible, with level access to the bar.

For those who want to spend time out in the fresh air, the local area has an impressive array of outdoor attractions, including Hesketh Park, the Botanic Gardens, the Martin Mere Wildfowl Trust, the Queen's Jubilee Nature Trail and the beautiful King’s Gardens. Splashworld, the popular family water park, is around 500 metres away. The hotel is also within easy reach of more traditional favourites, such as the beach and Southport Pier (the 2nd longest in Britain). In addition, the surrounding area benefits from some of the finest golfing country to be found anywhere in Europe. Southport itself is truly a golfer's paradise, with 6 different courses to choose from including the world famous Championship Courses at Royal Birkdale and Royal Lytham St. Annes.
